An intimate elopement at Trader’s Point Creamery feat. Alaina & David

Trader’s Point Creamery is not only a great place to grab a farm fresh organic meal or homemade ice cream, it can be a beautiful location to say “I do!”. The 180-acre family owned farm has multiple backdrops for your ceremony and photos that can all be incorporated into your time there. The most popular spots being the beach and dock (with a boat to go out on the pond), open grass fields where you can watch the cows graze, gardens bursting with color and greenery, and a rustic barn. To end your elopement day, you can head up to the Roost to enjoy a meal with your guests that’s prepared by the in-house chefs using ingredients grown and produced right there on the farm.

Alaina & David chose to have their ceremony overlooking the pond with just their parents and siblings to witness. David’s family traveled all the way from Norway to be there for their wedding day! Their sweet ceremony included a ring warming tradition where the family prayed, gave words of wisdom, sang, and blessed the beginning of their new journey together in marriage. Alaina & David played rock, paper, scissors to see who had to read their vows first and ended their ceremony with a hand fasting and group prayer. Every moment of their ceremony was intentional and showed how much love they had for their families and each other!

After the ceremony, we explored more of the gardens and scenery of Trader’s Point Creamery for couples photos. In early June, the vegetables and flowers weren’t in full bloom but it still offered a little pop of color.
